About Me

This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.
I choose not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but I choose to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.
I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it.

As a human, I was born in this world to learn and grow. I was born to correct my past mistakes and realize the true reality. I understand my body is only an expression of that reality, created in its image. My goal is to become one with my inner nature and find truth through inspiration and love.

I realize that my body is not my true self, and my creativity originates from an immortal soul. I am an embodiment of divinity, enjoying the ride as I fly through the universe, traversing a path of spiritual discovery. I have realized that love surrounds us, and is all-pervasive. It is the force that knits us together on the deepest level. I am ever aware of the many opportunities that present themselves, which I try to make the best of. Taking life for granted is one way of suffering. Once you have been endowed with this realization, the path to enlightenment, or the path to whatever higher power you believe in, is revealed. You realize the only thing keeping your dreams from materializing is yourself. Your dreams will manifest if you let them. I strive to share this eternal wisdom with others, showing them the beauty of living inspired. Life is indeed about learning to dance.

The essence of living inspired is creativity. The unhindered flow of this force which permeates everything we do is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful things in our universe. We are all on a path heading toward a higher state of consciousness. Some of us are walking a different path than others, but that's okay. Even though all paths have different beginnings, they crisscross and eventually merge at the same destination. We are part of a conscious nexus, forever interconnected in a cycle of karma.

I must admit, I am I severely eclectic. I have studied different faiths in hopes of finding "the one for me." Wicca, Christianity, Buddhism, and several others have captured my attention at one time or another. A friend helped me realize that I don't have to have a single faith. I am happy in just believing what I believe, even if it is nameless. The mutual wisdom of all religions can be found in between the lines of scripture, a precious gem of truth that predates the creation of humanity. This esoteric knowledge is where my current interests lie, and it often includes aspects of the mystic and occult.

I pledge to incorporate meditation in my life, both formally and casually, realize my own acts of mindlessness, forgive myself, love indefinitely, refuse to take life's suffering personally, be mindful in all acts of life, cherish the present moment, and become aware of the ever infinite and eternal life force that beats inside of us and throughout the cosmos.

These are my revelations of life and the many wonders of living it. I keep my thoughts to myself and ponder what would happen if I let them out.
